Lightning Spell

Concepting

This is my most recent VFX project to date. I grew up playing Spyro the dragon and have always been in love with the elements, specially with lightning being my favorite. So for this project I wanted to challenge my self by creating a VFX that is comprised of four main elements. First being the casting animation to show anticipation, then we have a strike indicator that appears where the target is. We then have the actual impact/hit. Finally, a resolve being the ground cracked from the impact and the target left stunned.
